The PS Plus September 2026 games give subscribers four very different options: tactical sniping, baseball, a physics-driven co-op sandbox, and a single-player JRPG. All four can be added to your library from September 1 through October 5, 2026. The lineup can vary by region, so check your local PlayStation Store before claiming.
The quick way to choose is by session type. Sniper Elite: Resistance fits players who want a campaign they can tackle alone or in co-op. MLB The Show 26 is the PS5-only choice for baseball and long-form team or career modes. Wobbly Life is the couch co-op option. Chained Echoes is the focused single-player RPG.
Sniper Elite: Resistance — for flexible multiplayer
Sniper Elite: Resistance is available in PS5 and PS4 versions. Its campaign supports co-op, while Axis Invasion lets another player enter a campaign as an enemy sniper. Competitive multiplayer supports up to 16 players, and Survival lets four players fight waves together.
That range makes Sniper Elite: Resistance the flexible multiplayer pick in this lineup. Choose it if you want stealth and precision shooting with several ways to play with or against other people, rather than a strictly solo campaign.
MLB The Show 26 — for a long-term PS5 sports game
MLB The Show 26 is available only on PS5 in this lineup. Road to the Show centers on a player career, while Diamond Dynasty is the squad-building mode. Internet access is required for Diamond Dynasty.
PlayStation Plus members can also claim the limited-time Jump Start Bundle from September 1 through October 6. It contains five The Show Packs, one Equipment Pack, and a Jumpstart Choice Pack. That makes MLB The Show 26 the natural fit for subscribers who want an ongoing sports game, but the extra bundle has its own deadline.
Wobbly Life — for four-player couch co-op
Wobbly Life is available for PS5 and PS4. It supports solo play or up to four players online or through local split-screen co-op. The open-world sandbox mixes missions, puzzles, mini-games, toys, and secrets, with additional activities in Arcade mode.
Pick Wobbly Life when the priority is playing together on one console. None of the other September games is presented as a four-player local split-screen option, so its role in the lineup is unusually clear.
Chained Echoes — for a solo JRPG
Chained Echoes is the one PS4 title in the lineup without a separately listed PS5 version. It is a story-driven, single-player JRPG with turn-based combat, fantasy environments, and pilotable mechs.
Choose Chained Echoes if you want a solo game and would rather follow a complete RPG journey than maintain a sports roster or coordinate multiplayer sessions. PS5 owners can look for the PS4 listing in the store.
Claim dates and the one deadline to watch
Claim anything you might want before October 5, even if you do not plan to download it immediately. Access to Monthly Games requires an active PlayStation Plus subscription, and regional availability can differ. The MLB The Show 26 Jump Start Bundle remains listed through October 6, one day after the main lineup window closes.
